Challenge

The solar industry is full of technical jargon. And the market is a bit of a snoozefest. All that dull, meaningless info makes people go: “Solar panels? Meh, never mind.” What a waste. How can we tackle this? By turning 'boring' into our biggest strength.

Solution

Proud to be boring. With this campaign, we show our audience that a lack of interest in solar panels is totally understandable, but it shouldn’t stop them from getting them. In fact: good solar panels should be boring. Because boring always works. Boring is reliable. Nothing ever happens to them. Yaaawn! Rolled out in five countries through two films, radio, social. Result? Over Over 200.000 solar modules have been sold more within the year after the campaign launch. And a Nomination for a SAN Accent, category Durables, 2024.
