Challenge

In the summer of 2024, Het Cultuurfonds approached me to create a new donor recruitment campaign. With the explicit request to develop a theme that could run for years. I presented four conceptual routes. One direction was immediately and unanimously chosen.

Solution

De donatie die blijft geven (The donation that keeps on giving). When you support culture, you're not only supporting let's say a musician, you're also supporting the music teacher, parents, instrument maker, the audience.

This is the hook we now use twice a year as the basis for donor recruitment campaigns across various cultural fields. So far, we’ve developed a campaign around music (2024) and one around crafts and heritage (2025). Other fields, such as dance and visual arts, will follow in 2026. From national newspaper ads to radio spots, from motion to social media and bannering.

I act as Creative Director on these campaigns within a team I assembled myself; from Art Director to Designer, from Motion to DTP, from voiceover to radio studio.
